I've tried buying on ebay to get feedback, most haven't posted fb for me although I do it for them.
I've sold 2 items, no fb from them either and I even reached out gently of course to promote fb.
How am I supposed to show I'm a valuable seller if I can't post enough to get any attention for sales?
How long will this 5 item thing last?

You have to pay your dues. eBay has no way to tell a good beginning seller that can be trusted and is here for the long term, from a Total scammer listing 1,000 video game systems for 80% off and has no merchandise
and will run for the hills after stealing $1,000,000.00
Because of the thieves, Honest sellers are restricted to what they can and can't do.
Personally, I have about 50,000 sales on ebay and started at Zero feedback, Just like you.

Until you build up a solid selling history, one item at a time.

Customers feedback has nothing to do with "selling limits". After you sell some items and prove that you are a reputable seller...after 30 days you can request an increase in "seller limit."

I know and thank you. It's just frustrating that the jerks have to ruin everything for the new person wanting to get a head in life. Tired of clocking in and missing time away from family.
Thanks again!

Hi, in this case the jerks were new sellers that listed stuff and did not deliver the goods or sent junk. Because of those bad sellers, all sellers must go through these limits. Even if you were on ebay for a long time and sold alot, if you took a long break from selling, you are treated as a newbie.
Continue to do good work. Write accurate descriptions with plenty of clear photos, pack well and ship fast and slowly ebay will start to trust you and give you more listings. Goodluck.
