This was just announced by Ebay and I just wanted to make sure we have as many sellers as possible seeing this.
We've recently enhanced our payout scheduling options to bring you more flexibility when managing your eBay earnings. In addition to the existing daily and weekly payout schedule options, now you have two more options for when to have your payouts sent-biweekly or monthly. Remember, choosing a longer payout schedule may mean that more funds are available to use towards selling costs such as shipping labels and refunds.
Monthly, biweekly, and weekly payouts will include the Available funds earned from sales with confirmed payments through the Sunday prior to your payout date. In the event of a bank holiday, the payout will be made on the following business day.
When to expect your payouts:
- If you choose to receive payouts monthly, payouts of Available funds are sent to your bank on the first Tuesday of the calendar month.
- If you choose to receive payouts biweekly or weekly, payouts of Available funds are sent to your bank on Tuesdays.
- If you choose to receive payouts daily, payouts of Available funds are sent to your bank 2 business days after the buyer’s payment is confirmed.
Once eBay sends payouts, your bank will generally take 1-3 additional business days to make the funds from these payouts available to you.

I personally do Weekly deposits. Every Tuesday morning the Payout is released and early on Wednesday I have an email from my bank saying it has arrived.
My only issue with this process is they seem to be slow to process payments on Monday so it can be included in the Tuesday Payout. Not a huge deal, but one that I've noticed.
I'm moving to Bi weekly payouts to see if I like it better. I can easily move back to weekly if I desire.
Yes. You can try them all if you like until you find what fits you if you'd like. It is wonderful to have options. And the Instant Transfer many have wanted all along

Whoops my bad. I thought that option was going to be in the same announcement as the other options.
Well it is coming, but I don't know when. Soon I would think. They must have discovered an issue and decided to release that at a later date. Sorry that I got your hopes up, but it is coming.

There are many reasons that someone may not want to do Daily Deposits. Could be that they don't want 20+ deposits in their bank account any given month. Their cash flow could be something that does not require daily deposits. Or there may be some other reason.
Each of us has our own needs. We are a diverse group of people for all walks of life. Which is why there are options. Which is always better than a one size fits all approach. I would hate to be forced into daily deposits.
You are correct Ebay does takes the fees upfront and if you use the shipping label program, in most cases they take that money up front to when you create the label. Whether or not it goes to USPS [in my case] on the same day doesn't matter at all to me as long as the label is honored by the carrier. This is no different from every other similar site like Ebay. This is the way Etsy, Amazon, Mercari, Offerup, Poshmark etc has done long before Ebay did. So the practice is pretty normal.
The amount of interest someone may earn on my money because I let them keep it a little longer means nothing to me. The bookkeeping is easier and saves me time. That alone is worth far more any interest anyone would earn.
You may notice I did not repost your last statement in your post. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It sounds a bit racist to me, certainly disrespectful at the very least.

I know you are aware that Ebay does NOT handle MP money, that is what they hired Adyen for. Ebay manages every aspect of it, but they do not process or handle the literal money. Which as we all know is required to earn interest.
