New listing

I don’t know if this is the correct place for me to ask this question, but I’m at my wit’s end. Perhaps someone can direct me to the correct place.  I am trying to put a new listing up and when I get to the pricing area I do NOT want any auction! Just buy it now.  I can’t figure out how to do it that way.  The only selection is “change” next to recommended auction and when I click on that, it goes directly to “auction”and I can’t change it. Until I do that, there is no selection for “buy it now”.  I now have 2 listings that I can’t finish, can’t change and can’t delete.  Is there a way to delete these listings that are in the preview stage and haven’t been listed yet?  I have 2 other listings that worked fine, but I can’t remember how I managed to do it.

Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me…

The 'Format' drop-down is beneath your 'Item description' in the 'Selling details' section. Tick it and choose 'Fixed price'.

Edit to add: you're not looking for 'Buy it now'... you're looking for 'Fixed price'. Breathe... it's there.

It might be hiding behind 'Auction-style', which is what you may be seeing. Good luck.

By preview stage I assume you mean it us currently a draft.

Open the draft. Scroll on down to where it says "Selling Details". Just below that it will say "format". There is a drop down menu that allows you to pick either Fixed Price or Auction Style. Simply click Fixed and then make any other changes you might need to make then "save"

If it won't work that you can't make the switch, select  Draft (even if you don't, it'll save as one if you leave the page.)

Then, go to drafts and there will be a choice of deleting it.

Or it'll just sit there in drafts where you can try it again later.

Thank you for trying to help me. I found the draft and clicked on it to open it but cannot find selling details or format anywhere.  If I delete all these drafts and start over, I’m again at the point where there is no option for me to select buy it now. I’m so sorry to be bothering you with something that must be very simple

There are several different versions of the eBay listing form.  In one version, there is a section called "Pricing", with a little pencil icon over on the right side that says, "Edit all options." If you click on that, there's a pop up window with a slider button to choose whether to use auction format or not. If you slide to the left, then you'll get the "Buy it now" format.

If this doesn't help: Can you provide a screen shot of the place where you get stuck?

Thank you for reminding me that there are many ways to skin a cat. I've never seen that listing form example.

If @patiwack1 sees what you see, then my suggestion is no good. 😐

If they are using the new listing tool according to this it should be in a pop up

window in the pricing section as @nobody*s_perfect  screenshot shows.
