Im a new seller, and i received a message from the buyer stating this.
(Note, when shipping to me. Please write me the KH4112 customer code, do not send the bill, please keep your strap. Because when you send the strap and the accompanying invoice I will lose 10% of the total amount you have dealt with)
Im not sure what that mean. So if someone could help me understand that. Thanks

Sounds to me like a foreigner in a nother country using a reshipper. The KH4112 could refer to his "account" number which these buyers using reshippers want you to put on the outside of the package to identify who it's going to immediately upon receipt of the package to the reshipper.
The rest of it though... I have no earthly idea. I'd write back to clarify what he means about both things just to be sure, the KH4112 and "keeping the strap".

I think the request to not include the invoice is so the buyer can avoid custom fees. It also could be that if the watch has the band it will be taxed at a higher rate than just the watch itself. Don't know why that would be, but I can't think of any other reason. In any case, I would include the band because it is in the listing and not including it leaves you open to item not as described case.

And, if that is the case that he is using a reshipper, perhaps what he means is that he does not want you to print out the transaction details and put it inside the package. Perhaps the reshipper tacks on an extra fee for anyone who they know uses ebay or something? I have no clue, that was just the best guess I could come up with regarding that part.
But again this is all pure speculation at this point.

Keeping everything in ebay message send them back a message & tell them you cannot take apart the watch and then wait for the reply.
Sorry I would never remove the strap from that watch you just sold
What's to stop them from filing an item not as described with Paypal? You are selling a complete watch here.
there is nothing under cancel that will protect you from an out of stock so message them and wait for a reply.

In what country does your buyer live? Try composing a simple message and using Google translator to translate it into their most likely language. Worth a try, anyway.

Well if this guy using a reshipper (again we're still just speculating), technically he loses his buyer protection by doing so. The thing is proving that to ebay and getting them to understand, if a SNAD case is opened.
However I agree that I would not want to take something apart if that is indeed what he's talking about.

If the band/strap is genuine leather or something like alligator or crocodile, it may not be legal to import to the buyer's country and sending it may be cause for seizure by Customs.
I would definitely send a printed packing slip though.

The shipping information says California.
California, Delaware, New Jersey and Florida are just some of the most popular states where reshippers are located to send items out overseas.
If you are so inclined, you could do a Google search of the address and may be able to easily find out if it is indeed a reshipper. It certainly appears to be. Which in and of itself really shouldn't be a problem, but deciphering his requests sure is!

^^ That may or may not hold up since there is a request within messages to remove it. Whether or not CS would look at that message is anybody's guess. Maybe Staff could advise (if somebody wanted to ping them) when they get back to work Monday.
