New Seller - Liquidating Stock from Other Platforms

Hello Everyone,

We have several hundred units that we sell on Amazon that we would like to liquidate. How do I get my first eBay sales? This item has https://www.ebay.com/itm/143801470484 we listed has 57 views so far but no sales. I know that the sales to views ratio is generally in 1-2% range but we would like to sell our inventory as soon as possible.

Any advice or tips or useful information (especially about getting steady sales) would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Not sure how you intending on handling the volume wholesale sales. So just to let you know, no outside sales allowed thru eBay, meaning someone can't contact you thru eBay and buy off the platform. Not saying anything hinky is going on, just letting you know.

I looked at your ad, but there are a number of other sellers with same or similar product. I could be wrong but I don't see this as a high volume item even at your price. What I suggest doing is, do an advance search of similar items and see how they have sold. The advance window is next to the search box.

You have a good listing and have done most everything necessary to get the item out there (Item Specifics, Keywords, Return policy, etc), but eBay works best for brand-centric sales. When selling a more generic item, it is much harder to attract new sales to the listing. Plus you have only 2 listings up. If you are experiencing new seller limits on the quantity you can list, it may take you several months to build up enough listings to increase your chance of sales. It takes time. If i were you, I would try some cross-promotions using social media. Your item is cute, and you have it priced right compared to other listings. Now you need more eyes on it.

As for mentioning you are ready to negotiate a much better price for wholesale, I don't know if that will serve you well for individual sales. It is rather a turn-off for the average consumer to read that. I think I would reword that phrase so it doesn't sound like you are negating the retail buyer. Something along the lines of "Wholesalers inquiries welcome." and don't mention the pricing will be "much better" for the wholesale, and therefore, not-so-good for the retail buyer. If you catch my meaning.

Thanks for the advice. I'll create listings for a bundle of 10 or some other number of the same item and offer it at a better price.
