Seller Hub! OMG! WTH? I keep noticing new and even more absurd things about it! Of course, it's so badly designed it's taken several days for my eyes to adjust to all the boxes in a totally mind numbing set up. But front and center...my rating! Not my sales, not what's selling, not what's sold... my rating. But this is the priceless one..... BIG BOX to the right of the center one. In a newspaper it would be front page above the fold where breaking news goes, headlines, important stuff! And what does that box tell me? What incredibly important and useful information does it contain to make sure my ebay experience is good and smooth? I now know I have a $2BILLION dollar selling limit! So good to know! But wait...lol... it's not a lifetime limit or a yearly limit, it's MONTHLY. What a relief.... I was afraid I might go over.... But if you click on 'learn more' it assures me that I can apply to have the limit increased. I am certain this will be a comfort to the average ebay seller and so glad they included that vital information at the very top of the first page, in a BIG BOX, otherwise I might have missed it!
So thanks ebay. I have been with you since the 90's. And despite all the weird changes over the years have muddled through, adapted, adjusted and plowed on. And I will continue, when I have the time to try and sell now and then, but trust me, you are making this very difficult for many and impossible or not worth the trouble for some. I have talked with both buyers and sellers and have yet to hear someone say anything good about this newest "improvement". If I want to know my rating you could provide a link. If I want to know my Monthly limit, that too could be a link. I'm sure there is a reason why both those things are right there in BIG BOXES at the top of the seller hub but for the life of me I can't figure out the motivation.
