New Authenticator process

So now "authenticators" are being used for sports cards selling over $750.  My question is, what happens when one of these "authenticators" damages a card before it gets to the buyer ?

New Authenticator process

Good point.  Seems like there is always another person or agency getting involved.  I have  another issue that bothers me.  What's to say this agency receives a gem mint card, keeps it and forwards an almost mint card instead.  As a collector, it's a big difference between gem mint and near mint.   Give it a few weeks and we'll be seeing posts about the pros and cons.

New Authenticator process

There always be more risk the more people handle it.  Since there is no way to prove it I would say nothing.  Even the process is suspect as some collectors would remove graded cards and send them in again and often got is back with a higher rating.
