The new adult content restrictions on eBay are archaic and embarrassing. What was the purpose of this change? Who is this policy really supposed to protect? The company already had two or three step adult filters and disclosures before someone could view the cover of, say, an x-rated magazine with a explicit cover. This policy is RIDICULOUS. America and it’s companies need to get over it’s sexual hang ups and stop buckling to people and groups complaining about something they really don’t have to view. Is this not 2021?

We should look at the word discrimination. Everybody is using it. Is there such a term as sellers discrimination? We have sold adult items for a long time in a secure and proper legalize format, so why the change?

i agree that their policy on allowing some magazines [playboy, etc] and not others that may be even tamer is ludicrous. but then ebay has many policies that are ridiculous and unfair. that's what they do and that's their right. the real question now is.... what's a good alternative?

Dunno about the books and magazines, but in the Sexual Wellness category there is some pretty racy stuff I stumbled upon when checking a posters listings. WOW
Don't see how mag's and books can be disallowed when these 'Health' products are allowed LOL
