New Add rate?

Can anyone give tell me if there is parameters on the add rate ebay launched. I wanted to set my add rate at 5 % to test it out? can that be done?

Are you talking about the dynamic ad rate? Minimum is 2 percent for any promoted listings standard campaign you run. That's the only parameter I'm aware of. If you are talking about the dynamic ad rate, do you understand how it works?

With the dynamic rate you can set the cap at 5 percent if you want.

It looks to me like your starting bids are already nice deals - Why do you think you need to pay an additional 5% of the ENTIRE TRANSACTION to sell them? If you owned one of your $10 starting bid records for $5, you would be giving up nearly 60% of your profit promoting at 5% - This program may be designed to increase your sales(though not even sure if that is accurate), but it is NOT designed to help you make money - I see it as a losing venture...

I would think bare minimum you could sell a large portion of what you have listed in just a lawn sale at your asking prices - I've noticed lawn sale prices for good collectibles has increased dramatically and rightly so... I sold many comics in my last lawn sale and they went for incredible amounts - close to or even more than if I listed them on ebay without ALL the hassle, NONE of the risk, and NO 20% cut...

Feebay would prefer you promote at 100%. That would make you a "favored" Feebay seller, like some of these posters!
