Trying to understand new 30 day rule. If item doesn't sell, does it automatically relist after 30 days or at the end of the month in which it was listed?

The listing rolls over at the end of 30 days.

@doroncj The new GTC Relisting rule will start July 1 ... until then every GTC will Relist every 30 days, period, regardless of the month, day, time, moon cycle, axial tilt of the earth, etc.
July 1 they will Relist each month on the same numerical date they were created or Relisted from previous listing ... so listing on the 12th day of one month they will relist on the 12th of the next month, etc. Exceptions would be months with 28, 29 and 31 days ...

All fixed price listings are now in "Good until canceled" format, which means that they automatically roll over every month until either the item is sold or the seller cancels the listing. It renews automatically and immediately; it never really ends.
Currently, the basic duration of a "Good until canceled" listing is 30 days, so it rolls over every 30 days. Starting in July, instead of rolling over every 30 days, a GTC listing will renew on the same date as it started regardless of the length of the month. So if you list an item on August 1, it will renew on September 1 (rather than 30 days later on August 31). Here's the new policy, which includes some useful examples:

Just knew the 30 day thing was changing, but couldn't find the details. Thank you for providing the link to new July 1st policy.
