I haven't "shared" an item on social media. Has any one done this? If so, I'd like to hear about your experiences.

Are you asking how to share an item on Social Media? I'm not really sure what info you are looking for here...

@whorunbartertown I use social media a fair amount - 'sharing' just means you post your item to your account on any number of platforms - I use twitter and pinterest - users on those platforms that follow you will see the item.
You can do one of a couple of ways - just share the item, or you can share the item and add content.
One thing I do NOT do is mix personal and business social media accounts so friends and family are not bombarded with my offerings - you can have separate accounts (or, in Facebook, you can have a business sub-page on your personal account, or just a business page).

Using social media to market your items
Social Media can be a great tool to increase your reach to buyers. Below we share a course on using social media from eBay Seller School and tips from our sellers.

Do you have any friends or followers on social media who would be interested in buying your items?

I tend not to, only because I keep my personal life personal. 😛

I'm not sure. That's why I'm trying to gather info before I proceed. For example, another poster said that their friends blocked them for sharing eBay links.

If you have experience doing this, I'd like to hear about it. Does it increase your sales? What sites is eBay compatible with? etc. (general info or your personal experiences)

I don't have any social media. I'm wondering if I should.
