Negitive feedback left from a buyer accidentally

I received negative feedback from a buyer 4 days ago by accident and they have submitted the revision request but the negative feedback is still there. How long does it usually take for the revision to take place?

If they admit the feedback was a mistake in messages a cs rep may remove as well.

With ebay glitches and bugs there is no way to tell. If your buyer really did revise a customer service rep should be able to see that and fix it immediately. Its worth a call as any recent negs may sway potential buyer to choose another seller.

They are likely mistaken or just not being honest with you.  If they had followed the instructions in the email it would be gone.

But you can take care of this one easy enough.  What they said was against Ebay rules.  They mentioned a Claim and that they are not suppose to do.

Tomorrow just call Ebay and ask them to remove the FB for breaching the rules.  They can get it taken care of quickly.

I would call CS to see what your options are. My understanding is that mentioning a claim itself isn't against the rules. What is against the rule is mentioning the outcome of a claim such as "eBay refunded me". But it wouldn't hurt to ask.

After seeing his comment and your thread here, I am confident there is no bug or glitch and that the buyer just had you waste one of your revision requests. 😞

@phoenix*68I had another thought. His Feedback states he started a claim. did he? If he didn't, then perhaps it really is a mistake. In that case, typically CS would probably be willing to remove this for you, but only after the 10 day period where the buyer can revise it expired. I would hang in there a few more days.

Is this a follow-up to some other thread in which the seller talks about submitting a revision request?  If so, I wish follow-ups would be done in the same thread, as I don't always feel like hunting for past history.

On the assumption that this is a brand new thread and not a follow-up - buyers don't submit revision requests.  Sellers do.  The buyer responds to the request by agreeing to revise and proceeding with the revision on line and submitting it,  or denying the request,  or ignoring it.

Did YOU submit a revision request?   If not, then do.  Do you need instructions on how to do it?

If the buyer told you that he or she submitted a revision request all by him or herself, that's not likely true unless they phoned eBay, which is also unlikely.

If this is a follow-up to a previous thread - never mind.

Thank you all for the help. I just spoke with Ebay and customer service went through our messages and saw that the buyer admitted to leaving the negative feedback on accident and so, they retracted it immediately. I misspoke in the original tread when stating that "they" the buyer, submitted the revision request; It was I, who submitted it to the buyer and they in turn did what they needed to do on there end, supposedly? FYI, I asked CS how long it should take for the negative feedback to be removed after the buyer does there part, and I was told it should take place almost instantly. I also asked if  I would lose one of my feedback revision requests and CS informed me that I would :(.
