Today I received my first negative feedback rating on this account. It was for a stupid reason too, but I'm not here to talk about that.
Here's the confusing part... As I was thinking about what I would reply to it, I refreshed the page and it was gone. I had not reported them and had not sent a revision request. It was there for a few minutes, and then poof-it disappeared. Not sure if it would have anything to do with it, but the item was returned for being "defective".
Is it normal for ebay to remove negative feedback like that, and for what reasons does ebay generally remove it?

That is "one" part of our seller protection. They will remove feedback that is not allowed.
I had a damage claim and made it right for my buyer. Buyer left a neutral feedback and it was 'poofed' before I even saw it.

Was it a new member? IIRC, if a member is suspended within 90 days after registering, eBay will remove any negative or neutral feedback that they have left.
