Need simple combined shipping instructions for buyers

I often sell multiple items, but at least half the buyers are confused by the instructions for requesting a revised invoice. (There is no consistency in my items, so pre-set combined discounts won't work.) I have tried different ways of explaining the process, but still have problems from the buyer's end. Does anyone have verbiage they use with buyers to explain the process? I appreciate the help!!

Need simple combined shipping instructions for buyers

Since ebay rolled out their special all items under 1K are secretly undercover by ebay IPR even though the seller did not select it,  it is not displayed on the listing, and many buyers are forced to pay up.  For many the option to "commit to buy and continue shopping with this seller" has been removed.  They can put all they want in in their cart, and there will be no option to select to "request a total" from the seller, and the seller does not have the option to see what the buyer has put in the cart.

Not everone experiences the same thing.  I find that if I win multiple AUCTIONS from the same seller, and do not pay, they are able to send me a combined invoice, but only for the auction wins.  Items from the same seller that are BIN, but not immediate payment required, cannot be included.

eBay staff continuously say the cart and the program is "working as intended".  The intention is what I question. and why sellers are confused that buyers pay for multiple items selected within the hour seperately.

Follow the money.
