I want to expand my business but all I have been selling is either my personal possessions or from yard sales.
How can I improve my sales if I don't have anything else to sell?
Can eBay help me with this respect?
I thought I could join Hello Alice but after seeing all the questions about business name, how much I make (which is hardly anything).
I am tired of my present job which offers nothing in return not even an evaluation after being with the company for 16 months.
I hope you can assist me.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Ernest F. Isip

Yard sales are usually only weekend affairs. To sell more you have to work every day. Try local thrift stores.

Research what you can source locally that sells well. There are plenty of places you can find inventory but if you want to sell it, know what does and what it will end up costing you. (fees, shipping ect)
Places to find stuff....
Craigslist (look in the free section)
FB Marketplace
Grocery Store bulletin boards
Local paper want/sell ads
Internet
The dump/recycling centers (many have areas that folks drop off electronics)
Thrift stores
Family/Freinds
Co-Workers

IMHO sourcing good inventory is 95% of the work when selling on eBay. The other 5% of the work is making good decisions after sourcing good inventory.

Anything meaningful that eBay could do for you would also be available for the other 19,999,999 sellers here who want to compete with you.
If selling on eBay was easy, everyone would be rich.
