I'm redoing my shipping on low weight items from calculated to a flat rate. When you put multiple items in the cart, you will only be charged shipping on the first item. This is only for flat rate shipping with $4.99. I set this up through selling preferences, and business policies. I do not get any of the marketing discount notifications or banners to let buyers know. Buyers would otherwise have to stumble upon it.
So far I'm planning on putting this in the description:
Shipping Discount:
Only items with $4.99 shipping: Pay $4.99 for shipping on the first item in your cart. All additional items with $4.99 shipping will ship for free.
It probably could be reworded better. We all know how Ebay loves to hide our descriptions, so people have to jump through hoops to find it. Should I create an image stating that to add as a photo. Or am I over thinking everything?

Combined Shipping Discount:
Applicable only to items with $4.99 shipping: Pay $4.99 for shipping on the first item in your cart. All additional items with $4.99 shipping will ship for free.
You can add that to line the item description or, possibly, in the subtitle area under the item condition if you have that option in your listings. (Don't make the text red, that's just there to show that it's a suggested edit, buyer's usually ignore colored text).

Unfortunately the subtitle costs an extra $2.00. Otherwise I would use it. Thank you for the suggestions.

I think tarotfindsandmore was suggesting using the item condition box which is free.
I would also keep that info listed in the main description
Condition: used/ Shipping discount available on this item.
The subtitle box has a $2.00 fee to use it.

Tried to put the information in the item condition box, and got this warning error.
Your item condition description field seems to contain information not relevant to the condition of your item.
