So when I have trouble capturing a good photo on an item and try to upload to a listing, I get a notice that the photo(s) are not good enough quality.
I can understand that and I work on them again until good enough to list.
My issue is that I just noticed while shopping in eBay there is one seller (I'm sure there are more) that have zero photos in their listing. How can that be? I actually contacted the seller to ask just in case they may be having an issue that they don't know about. They said they do not know how to upload.

@sextons-sweet-deals Sometimes the photos "break" and become grey ghost place holders. The seller had to have at least one photo to create the listing.
This glitch happens periodically across the site, typically with GTC listings that have been listed for a long time.

I don't need photos to list. Often, I'll list items on my computer, then revise the item from my phone, adding the photos. I have never received an error indicating that I must attach photos.

That's odd. Unless you are saving the item as a draft and not publishing it the system does require at least one photo. I know I have missed the photo steps a few times and try to submit and it will not.
Or you could use the catalog photo if one is available.

Maybe you are cropping you picture too much.
See this eBay Policy - been in effect for several years - guess at least 5 years, maybe more
Don't know how a listing can have zero pics as this is eBays policy
"When you list an item for sale on eBay, you have to include at least one picture."

"Quality" is size. Photos have to be 500 pix or more on at least one side.

Oddly, eBay allows a listing to be created without any photos ... even though it is their policy that there be at least one photo.

...same way here...
...btw, 12 photos for each listing descriptions sometimes is not enough...(especially when listing women handbags)
