NEED HELP HELP HELP

So on Sept 17th I had a buyer who made an offer of two diff et items in multiple of 4  of each item which added up to $300.00 including the shipping. I sent my buyer an invoice and shortly after I see he has made a payment when I open to check my payment it was for $81. And change!  I contacted eBay team that by the way can be very bullish and some that don’t even l ow what they are talking about!  All these agents claim that they are the escalation department, the managers, the managed payment team and yet they are none of the above!  You see eBay will never responsibility for their mistakes or actions instead they litterally threaten to close my account if I don’t calm down after almost 4 WEEKS TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH EBAY!  I told eBay that I was not about to ship $300.00 worth of goods for a payout of $81.00 eBay sent me not only that they shorted me they double dipped on their fees!  OUTRAGES! I tried to cancel the order I messaged the buyer and sent him a snapshot of my eBay payment and told him that I wanted to cancel his order and the system would allow to cancel.  After 2 weeks me calling eBay back and forth, the buyer decides to open a case for item not shipped.  I don’t blame the buyer, I see that eBay has held $300.00 of funds I did not get!  They promised me by today October 7th that this issue will be resolved!!! & guess what? NOTHING. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE BY EBAY TEAM LEADERS!  EBAY IS NOT A PROACTIVE OR PROFESSIONAL COMPANY LIKE THEY CLAIM TO BE! I have decided to put my store on vacation mode and not honor any sales until I get this resolved!  I might just have to go to small claims court to file a report and also with the FBI and my local police department and eBay’s local police department.  I have al the documents to prove my case and that eBay Has no ethics and morals and only care about making money on our expense!  They all have the same DNA because that is how they trained their staff to talk to you.  I NEED A RESOLUTION.  eBay owns your business

I would keep constant positive communication with the buyer. Tell the truth, Ebay is holding their funds against their will and you'd do an instant refund if you could.  You are so sorry.  Good luck and I am sorry this is happening to you

I have a feeling there is more to this story than we are being told.

Why are your funds being held?  Did you ask?  What did they say?

They "double dipped" on your fees?  Please explain.

If what you're saying is true, by all means, call the Police, call the FBI, take them to small claims court.

Good luck!

Payouts can seem very confusing (click on the PAYMENTS, PAYOUTS to see detailed description of where money went).    EBAY lumps many different transactions together into one Payout.    EBAY deducts "shipping costs" immediately and holds that money "for you" so you have "pending funds" available to print labels.

EBAY fees based on (purchase price + shipping costs + sales tax) plus 30 cent transaction fee.   Could be additional fees for "international buyers" or "promoted listing".

@treasuresbytheocean

Perhaps if you could post a snippet of your fees for the items, there could be something one of us could spot that would help figure out what happened.

And maybe further details like whether the transactions on September 17 took place on the id you've used to post. I see a sale for a decanter and a sale for a dollhouse record player on September 17, but the total wouldn't come close to $300.

Just a little more information would be really helpful.

Don't ship until you are paid in full.

If possible, apologize to the buyer, explain the problem and ask if he is willing to cancel all the multiple purchases. Advise him that his payment will be refunded automatically and immediately.

Buyer Request is a valid reason for cancelling a problem transaction.

OR

Just cancel and take the Defects.  You seem uninterested in continuing with eBay in any case, and those Defects drop off in 12 months if you change your mind.

I suspect the problem is somewhere in the multiple purchases.

@treasuresbytheocean I sounds like you cancelled the order therefor there is no funds to be held as you did not sell the item to the buyer ?

Ebay is not going to make you refund a buyer more than what the buyer paid. You should have cancelled/refunded the order if you were not going to ship it on time.

You can look in Seller Hub - Payments tab  - All Transactions to see all your payments received, fees and expenses.

I hang up on people who yell at me (although I do get paid a lot more than Canadian Minimum Wage), and they can learn to speak respectfully by waiting another hour to talk to an agent when they call back.
