My listing isn't showing in search

I haven't been selling on eBay for long but I think I've managed to list as accurately as possible... I have 8 listings but only 7 of them show up in search. I don't know if it's something I did wrong or what. It's a camo diaper bag that I made. It DOES show if I use the word handmade in search, but if I just say "camo diaper bag" it doesn't, even when I use the handmade filter. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I see 8 listings.

Keep in mind that once you post a listing, it can take as much as 24 hours for it so show up on the site.  Most don't take that long, but other will.

BTW, Nice stuff.  You have a real talent for creating these items.

Thanks! I posted the diaper bag a few months ago and it has 119 views, but they suddenly stopped about 2 weeks ago.

To address another one of your questions, though, you are allowed to post the item number if it's for the purpose of helping you out with a selling/listing issue. Here's the salient part of the community guideline rule:

13. Do not advertise items, listings, services, or commercial websites, including petitions or solicitations for others to buy your items, or use your products. Members are allowed to request assistance finding items to purchase on eBay, ask for recommended tools to help run their eBay business, and discuss site improvements that compare eBay to other platforms in conjunction with genuine business insight. Members are allowed to share their items as examples for others to review, and may share recommendations for selling tools when recommendations have been requested by others in the discussion. Members are not allowed to proactively share their items or services with the intent of soliciting sales, subscriptions, or to otherwise use the Community as a marketing platform.

P.S. I should clarify that, generally speaking, it's not allowed to post other sellers' item numbers . . . especially if it's for the purpose of being critical or suggesting it's a violation or mocking them--you get the idea.

That sometimes happens.  It is all about what buyers are shopping for at any given time.  Also the view #'s aren't always accurate.  So keep that in mind.  I bet it was a very cute bag.

It may be just how you have your preferences for the site set up.  

On the top right, there is an arrow between your Avatar and your User ID.  Click on that down arrow and go to preferences.  There are several tabs.  Set things up how you'd like to view stuff and you may find that will help you navigate the threads easier.  You may have to play with it a bit to get it just the way you like it.

Your item is listed in the following category:

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Baby > Baby Accessories > Bags

A general search for diaper bag is automatically steered by eBay into the following category:

Baby > Diapering > Diaper Bags

If you want your item to appear in a search for diaper bag, you should list it in the latter category rather than the former.

In many cases, eBay will automatically change the category based on the keywords used in a search, if that is where a majority of the purchases for that search were made in the past.
