Multiple Shipping Options

I've been adding multiple shipping options lately. But am lost at knowing how to determine which option the buyer selected?

My work around has been to go to the original listing, look at shipping options, change zip to buyers & compare the costs to what was paid.  There has to be a better way....what am I missing?

Multiple Shipping Options

I click on "print shipping label" and it will show for my listings, USPS 1st Class or USPS Priority or it will throw my into the UPS screen if UPS is to be used

Find your sold item > under the " More Actions " drop down option>

click on View Order Details> it will show you what shipping option the buyer picked

Not so fast.......that dosen't work.  The shipping info that shows up under show details dosen't happen until you ship it. It shows what ever shipping info you input or is transfered when using one of the print label services.  I want to know which shipping option was selected so I know who to ship it with.

It has to be here somewhere???

Stop adding so many options.  You're the seller - you pick the shipping method or two.

I'm guessing 95% your buyers are going to go for the cheapest option.  That's the nature of the beast.

FedEx Smartpost is lousy if you need to file an insurance claim (and they have a reputation for being excessively hard with handling)  I wouldn't ship anything that can be easily damaged through them.

You do know that you can't buy UPS labels through eBay, correct?

Ok that makes sense, i quite often use paypay to print shiping label, I'll have to wait for a sale and try the ebay print option. I use PayPal because I closed my ebay ups account awhile back, I got tired of ups calling to offer help. I may need to open it back up to make things work smoothly.

Thanks for the help, I'll check it out next sale.
