Monthly sales limit

Although not a new seller, I haven’t sold on eBay for over two years, but I would like to start liquidating my collection. To my surprise, they have me on a limit of no more than 10 sales a month, which didn’t fit into my plans. Any advice on how I might be able to get that limit increased and get back to posting would be very much appreciated. My previous experience with selling on eBay, I processed 42 orders in a six week period with no incidents. I have also had an eBay account since 2005 and have had no negative feedback, mostly as a buyer.

Sorry that you ran into this.  If it's been over two years, then in eBay's eyes, you are a new seller.

List as much as you can and sell well and the limit will increase, but not immediately.

Be sure you check out any new rules that have popped up since you last sold here.

The limit will be eased off as you start selling.  Just start with ten items ans work your way up.

There is no quick way to increase.

All buyers have 100% FB. Sellers are not able to give anything but Positive FB.

You will also have holds on payments to your bank for up to 21 days.

Today is May 15, so you're already half way through the month. I would list what you can and you could try contacting eBay June 1 and request an increase. eBay has three types of Seller limits.

As long as a Buyer isn't also a Seller, all Buyers have 100% positive feedback, so that might not be a factor in eBay's decision to increase your limits.

Thanks all for your helpful, encouraging comments! I don’t know if I signed up for Managed Payments ( I’ll have to check) but eBay is definitely managing my payments differently than the last time I sold. Also, and I wasn’t going to mention this, but I only have until the first week of June and will be heading back to Mexico where I am a permanent resident. Therefore, it looks as though I’m out of luck this trip, and will have to stay longer on my next visit. And, I’m fairly certain that selling from Mexico would not be as fun or profitable as it is here. Thanks again.
