Missing Camera Icon in eBay app search

Hello all,

Happy New Year to everyone.  Yesterday I noticed that the camera in the search is missing.  I see the bar code scan Icon, I can text to search for an item, however I cannot take a picture and search that way because the camera icon is no longer there.  

Is anyone else experiencing this missing icon and if so, were you able to get it back?

Any help I can get to rectify this issue will be greatly appreciated.

It is missing for everyone. ebay removed it. No word yet on when or even if it will be returning. I've been using Google Image Search as a substitute.

It has been disabled by eBay, most likely a temporary thing.

No detailed explanation given but most likely a security related issue.

I was also thinking Ebay removed that feature. Thank you for the Google Search info!
