I am wondering how many people would benefit from setting a min. purchase requirement for buyers. I sell a lot of $.99 items, however due to USPS rates going out of control, I do not make more then $.10 profit from these transactions, and if lost in transit it can really set me back. If I were to require my customers to add a min of $10 to their cart, then I would start to profit more per transaction. Any ideas, suggestions, comments on this? Very interested to see if we can make this a reality.

I agree. I sell a lot of $2 and $4 items. Would like to offer free shipping on those items like I do the rest of my listings. Can only do that by grouping a few together and selling them as a lot, or charging a base flat shipping rate for those items, with no extra shipping charged regardless of qty purchased. It works that way, better than the "lot" approach, but it is a little "clunky". Seems it would be an easy parameter for eBay to set up.

My first thought was that I would not want to be confined to a minimum purchase - and then I looked at your listings. I can see your point. You have developed a wonderful product line and many products are in the same category, or niche. If I were a buyer of Lego products I would not feel put off buy your requirement. Would ebay incorporate this? Probably not. The idea however reflects your ingenuity and focus.
I commend you for your success and your development of your store. You give others motivation to continue to evolve. A year ago I was at approximately 300 positive feedback per month and growing. Then it all hit the fan. I am discouraged but I still have ideas to develop.
Thanks!

Since you have a STORE subscription, can't you use the Promotions Manager to run a sale on your .99 listings, such as purchase at least $10.00 worth, get free shipping?

How do you show a profit selling .99 cent items?
