Messages from buyers in old my eBay selling overview

Hunting for something completely unrelated and managed to navigate my way to the old My eBay Selling Overview page (https://www.ebay.co.uk/mys/overview). Scrolling down beyond the Send Offers to Buyers, Relist and Promote Your Listings section, then there is Messages From Buyers. There are messages in their from potential and previous buyers that have not gone to my inbox. Where do the messages in this section come from and why are they not being delivered to my inbox? Not receiving buyer messages is a huge problem and why would they be hidden away from the new seller hub?Buyer info removed for posting here

You may be better served by logging out of the ebay.com site and logging back into your discussion forum in the UK.  Your Ebay platform may be different from what we experience here in the US.  Here's the link:
