Message on overview page

I have a message from someone that is visible when I viewing my "overview page" regarding an item I am selling. When I click on "reply" from the OV page it says the message is invalid or 90 old. Def not 90 days old. The message doesn't show in my eBay in box. Would this mean they deleted the message?

Don't click on Reply from the Overview page; that's been broken for an eternity. You should find that when reading the message itself, you can click on Reply there and it will work. Worst-case scenario: go to that person's feedback page and use the Contact Member link there to reach them.

As for the message not showing in your In box: they sometimes get lost if you read them without replying. You should be able to bring the message back by clicking on either the All Messages or From Members link in the left side pane.

As someone already posted it does not work from that page. Just reply at the actual message. Unfortunately, even if you do reply that message counter seems to stay even though it should disappear.

Ayup. I've found that Mark as Answered doesn't always stick either: you can drop the Questions count down to zero using Mark as Answered, and then a day later it comes right back. Coding of the Messages area has always been flaky, and has shown no improvement over the years.
