Media Mail questions

I'm aware of the restrictions on media mail, but I wanted to check with other sellers.   I have more AD&D handbooks and modules that I want to sell.  Some will go as media mail by eBay and some will not.  It seems to be by the category that I list in.  If it's books then media mail is ok and if it's AD&D modules then media mail will not work.  They are books.  If I put the ISBN number it will shift to books.

Just wondering what other sellers are doing to get about this or should I just list under the "book" code and rely on the title for search hits.

Thanks so much.

@d.amber You are correct, it is based on the category you are using. It is up to you where you want to list them, but it makes no difference if it is a book, MM option will simply not be available. You can always purchase your own MM label using pirateship.com or directly at the post office. Buyers will find your item regardless of which category you list it in. Best of luck to you....

When eBay will not sell me a label I simply buy the label elsewhere for the same price.

All my RPG books I list in their correct category (not books) and then print the label from pirateship.

Ebay is never going to "fix" this as books have higher final value fees than other categories and they seem to have largely only disabled media mail in categories that frequently have books in them.

If you have a Paypal account you can also create a media mail label there and just input the tracking to Ebay.
