I've used Markdown manager over the years....What I have found that if you inflate the price only to mark it down that doesn't fly. When I mark something down about 10-20%...no one seems to care or notice, Only when you mark down a true price by more than 50% then you get a little action..but at those prices you take a bath. I don't beleive that markdown manager really works..any thoughts?

6 out of my last 7 sales were MDMs. 10%, 20% & 25%. I run sales sporadically
I didn't inflate the prices and then mark them down. They were comparably priced to begin with. The 20 & 25% off ones were old stock that I realy wanted to go away. I still had pretty decent margins because they were fairly inexpensive to acquire.

I use it quite often with fairly decent results. I don't inflate prices then run sales either.

I never mark up too mark down, though eBay CS has recommended that I do that. I've had no luck with it myself.
