Managed payment in the most basic terms is just a different version of PayPal. It has nothing at all to do with your computer.

I'd bet those sites are all targeted at casual sellers. eBay includes everything from casual sellers to major companies, there is zero chance eBay would go exclusively to some sort of phone only app.

Do you have to have a paypal account for managed payments?  Don't all types of payments, including paypal  go directly to Ebay and then to the seller? Thanks

The idea is that all different types of payments (those on the ebay acceptable list) go to ebay and you get what is left after fees.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Thank you,  but to receive a paypal payment does it go  to a Paypal account,  then eBay,  or  bypass Paypal directly to Ebay,  then the seller ?  Yes, there are always the fees …  sigh. Trying to create a frame of reference as to how all this works.

Thanks
