Managed payments ?? #2

Can someone tell me what I'm missing here??

I've sold approximately $225 or so dollars worth of merchandise in the last week, each to different buyers-one of whom is in Australia-not sure if that is part of the problem or not.

Ebay send me a notice early this AM, that they're sending over a deposit to my newly set-up checking account of $50.25.  This odd figure, does not COME CLOSE to matching up, amount-wise, with the 3 items I've sold.   The three sales are in the amounts of $40, $85 and $90. Furthermore, I cannot find the "pending payouts" (money that has been paid by buyers to me and shipped out by me, but not yet "sent" to me by eBay.

Any advice???

If you go to Transactions under the Payments tab, it will detail which ones made it into this payout.

You likely have several that will be in the next.  Are you daily or weekly?  Remember the sales tax does not come to you - e-Bay remits on your behalf.

MP daily payouts can be very confusing.   MP is completely different from PayPal where you would see the exact amount of your sale.   EBAY deducts "selling fees and shipping costs" upfront (balance is deposited into your checking account 5-7 AFTER sales.

When EBAY deducts "shipping fees" that money is being "held for you" so you have money available to print shipping label.   When you print label (go to bottom of page) and click "use pending funds".   If you don't print label "using pending funds" that money would go back to you.

Also causing confusion EBAY lumps different transactions together in "one payout".    EXAMPLE:  you sold $90, $85, $40 on same day.   Because EBAY deducts selling fees and shipping costs immediately (they may deduct all the EBAY shipping costs for all 3 transaction from your $90.   Later on when the get payout for $40 and $85 transaction (they would NOT deduct shipping fees...because already deducted from $90).

Go to Payments, Payouts (to see detailed breakdown of fees).
