Managed Payments a step backwards

Not liking the new payment system. A big chunk now taken from sold listings and money not available instantly any more.

As a small time seller it worked to post several items out at a time but not now as we are expected to front postage charges.

Seems like a real step backwards and a way (possibly) for Ebay to gain interest by sitting on the money.

Take the postage out of pending payouts after a sale, you don't have to purchase labels using PP (unless you want to)

No, you're not. Look at the bottom of the Shipping label form, left side, and you will see a setting for your postage funding source. It will initially be set to draw from your PayPal account, so select the alternate choice to draw from pending funds instead, and you will then be able to use the payment funds for the postage.

No, they don't earn any interest on the funds.

You can use the pending funds to pay for the shipping.

Have a great day.
