Making a promotion work??

Trying to set up a one day 20% off sale on March 24. When I use the Mark Down Manager it only finds 29 out over 100 items. If I use the codeless coupon I can't confirm it is going to apply it to all listed items.

I took a peak at your listings...looks like you have 29 BIN listings and the rest are auction listings.  Promotions do not work for auction items, only BIN items.

Does the codeless coupon also only apply to BIN?

I have not used the codeless coupon, but from what I see here, it is also only for BIN

Ugh. At least this makes sense.
