Things began moving again yesterday finally. Our mail service was down from Tuesday until yesterday. Our poor mail delivery person was trying to catch up. Our temp dropped to 10 degrees and everything was ice covered. Thank fully no major accidents, just a car in the ditch for us.
That being said, the weather warning and late delivery is truly true here around North Carolina. Please be patient with sellers. They are doing there best to dig out and keep things moving.
Thank you and stay warm & safe.

Had the same situation with the weather here in Louisiana, snow and cold weather aren't the norm here so the entire city I live in and the surrounding areas shut down until Thursday. Mail didn't resume until Friday even though the PO was open Thursday. Since the PO was open Thursday, when things warmed up a bit and all the ice on the streets melted, I was able to get to the PO to have several packages scanned. Seems things are getting back to normal, temperatures here yesterday were back up to a comfortable 60 degrees and sunny.
Stay safe and warm.

I live in Maine and it still applies here for the most part.
It was 16 out the other day and my carrier was there power walking through 4" of snow in his usual winter attire of boots, jacket and shorts!

As jerseyboy stated where I live (rural Central Washington state) we have great mail service year round. It's getting packages to them from the scouce that seems to problematic.
