So sorry that ebay wrongly accused your daughter of selling illegal knives.
"WTH" is all I can think of too.

There is the possibility that it fell under the heading of a 'push blade' or gambler's knife. Possibly misidentified by the 'bots, but handled knives like the chopper could be banned in many countries, and push blades knives are illegal to sell or carry most places here in the U.S.

I have a chopper that looks quite a bit like that one. My mom gave it to me years ago. We see kitchen items like this advertised on Tv all the time so it's really strange that even a bot would think they're illegal. Of course there was that one incident where the bots accused me of using profanity while leaving feedback when I wrote '' Cute rabbit charms '' ,, so I guess anything is possible. Tulips

I got a bit careless with a mandolin once when my wife interrupted me in the kitchen. She ended up having to drive me to the ER and do all the cooking for about a month while my right hand use out of service. Now she makes me use my chef's knives and doesn't talk to me while I'm slicing anything.

The first that came to mind was that it may be an issue with offer global shipping. I believe that the UK is particularly touchy about knives coming into the country. Although I'm sure that they are necessary tools in the kitchens over there.
Of course, it is sometimes difficult to anticipate how or why eBay's bots react the way they do. Sometimes I have images of Will Smith in "I, Robot" when I read about things they have done.

"You'll put yer eye out!" No, wait...
Actually, my first thought was that maybe a bot's attempt at image recognition thought the right-angled handle was a partly-folded switchblade.
Nah - it's "You'll grow hair on your palms!".
Those kitchen implements have been around for about 200 years. You would think they would be recognizable even to an ebay bot. ....well.... maybe not ...
