I saw a thread a few years back about this and just wondering if things have changed. I use to send offers as soon as I got a watcher but since the offer time staying good for 4 days I quit that. Now on newly listed higher priced items I'll wait till I get 3 or more watchers to send an offer. I've read some reddit reviews saying morning is best and also evening is best but just looking for your opinion.

This is a great discussion. Thanks for bringing it up.
I send out offers once or twice a month. I don't want to send them too quickly because the buyer may have it on their watch list and maybe in their Cart too and plan on purchasing it in a couple days. Maybe after payday. So I wait a little bit.
Like you, I am very interested in what others have to say on this subject.

I send offers sometimes several times a day, sometimes every few days depending on my schedule and when I remember to do it. I've never once worried about what time of day it is, especially since they now get 96 hours to respond, so they'll see it whenever they get around to it, or not at all. Seller initiated offers do make up 5.2% of our total sales in the current period, sometimes a little more or less, but that's enough to make me continue to send them regularly.
