Local Pickup Question

So I agreed to ship an item bought as local pickup on the buyers FEDEX label he provided. Do I click "Buyer Picked UP" or just enter his tracking number or do I do both, and in what order?

Local Pickup Question

Put the tracking number in your feedback and also send him an eBay Message with the same information.

Both can then be seen by Customer Service if it comes to it. In addition, should there be a Dispute, you can put the tracking number into your statement.

Tracking is a Seller Protection against false claims of non-delivery.

There is a scam whereby the buyer sends a shipping label from his employer's account.

When the bookkeeper sees the label, a month or more later, she refuses it since she cannot match it to company business.

The shipper then comes after the seller for reimbursement of their work.

Tracking is also part of the requirements for the Top Rated Seller program, but you are not required to track every single shipment.

Local Pickup Question

Assuming it's the $25 sink/vanity you sold- you have it set up as 'pick up only' so I'm not sure if there is even a place you can enter tracking. Definitely add tracking if you can and mark as 'shipped' or 'picked up'- whatever the system allows you to do.

Hi, since the item was not picked up, do not mark it as such. Another poster with more experience in this matter will be along to advise you.

It happens not to be the sink but a radio. Interestingly enough, the normal place to enter tracking DOES exist and seems clickable.
