Listings with Variations

OK what am I missing here? I started using the variations and I'm not seeing a way to add a base price and a price for each variant so it can do all the math when it goes through all the different combinations. Do we really have to go through and do the math to add pricing for each one or am I just not seeing how to do it automatically? Also can't figure out how to edit the variant name after I create it.

Learning more about variations and this whole not being able to post an option that's 4x the base value is dumb as hell. I just spent all week writing an variations manager to do all my math for me and I can't use it because of that so I just wasted my time.

Oh and I can't edit or delete comments in here? That's dumb as hell too, no wonder this community isn't very active. I am officially challenging whoever made these decisions to a cage match..
