Listing violation for Copyright Violation - Unauthorized Image - But the IMAGES WERE ALL MINE.

I received a notice from Ebay that one of my listings had been taken down for copyright violation - unauthorized photo. I assume this was a VeRO violation, although the message never used that exact term.

ALL OF THE IMAGES were MY OWN. I took ALL the photos.

The item was a Chico's skirt.

The rights owner was Chico's Retail Service.

The notice said if I had questions, to follow a link to contact Ebay "Policy Experts," but the link goes nowhere.

I sent an email to the Chico's link given in the notice, but of course never heard anything back.

Does this mean I can never relist this item? I don't want to risk having my account suspended since I really depend on this income. Also, it wasn't an expensive item. I'm thinking it wouldn't be worth the risk. It mostly just irritates me that I was flagged this way without justification.

Has anyone else ever had this happen?

I have several Chico's items listed but none of the others were pulled.

Also, all my photos have a "look" or style, that should confirm that they are mine. They don't look anything like a catalog photo, in my opinion.

Thanks for any insight.

Short answer:

You need your eBay income.

They shouldn't have been pulled.. AND

More Importantly

you only have 3 of them.

Stop.

Move on.  Don't ever relist them.

Yes, you are "right".. but you need to act smartly on this.

You're on their radar.. etc.
