I listed a rather popular Hallmark ornament and noticed I didn't have any views, which I thought was odd, so I did a search for the item and mine didn't show in the listings. I checked spelling, etc. and eveything was fine. Kept trying to locate my listing by search, and nothing. Should not have to pay extra for a "promoted" listing for an item to appear in the listings. Why does this happen???

what is the title to that one?

2 things to consider....
no one can help you or give you any input unless we know what you are searching for.....
with the extensive use of AI in the algorithms, what you see (as the seller) and what other people see are usually worlds apart....unless you are searching with an anonymous browser (without any cookies or history)

I see 26 ornaments listed for you. How many do you have?
And, yes, this may be a bit of a stretch BUT if you do a search for a particular item why would eBay show you YOUR listing. You already know about that one. They would show you OTHERS listings that you do not know about.
I run into that all the time when I do a search for something which would normally include my listings and they show up way near the bottom.

If you just listed something sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to appear in the results. Views also ebay no longer counts bot views only real seller views.

It's probably personalisation - search incognito and see what happens.

No one here can help you unless you tell us the name of the missing item.

I searched on a couple of your listings on Google. The Dog Dish Dilemma did not even appear on google - in fact, NO eBay listings appeared on the first SERP - it was all Amazon and then misc merchants. Maddie the Mad Scientist did come up in a sub-link on Google (not the main link) fairly high up in search. This brought me to all the eBay selections - you were third on that. At least eBay did appear about halfway down the Google SERP.
Searching eBay incog I found your Maddie plush (using only a few title words) #1 on Best Match, #20 on Ending Soonest.
So, I'd put this down to personalization.
