Listing removed

Hi,I had a my listing removed of a CPAP machine as apparently it`s against Ebay UK policy to sell it as the buyer is supposed to have a prescription from the doctor.Complete nonsense, as I explained it`s possible to purchase from Amazon or off the shelf from the manufacturer over here without.Ok So I see another listing for a BIPAP machine on the Ebay UK site,this apparently is allowed as the seller is in the states.So my question is,would I be allowed to advertise on Ebay .com?I have tried to contact support on this site  but unlike Ebay Uk there is no live chat option,or at least I cannot find it.Any help would be great

If ebay is telling you to stop doing something it is usually best to stop doing it, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Well there is an if or but,as the guy from UK support said I would have to contact Ebay.com to enquire as to whether or not I would be allowed to list it on their site,hence my post

That device is not allowed to be sold on any eBay site, so just forget about listing it.

Your listing was listed BEFORE it was removed.

That listing will probably be removed also.

This is the US board and it is not allowed for obvious reasons.

And since it was removed UK ebay must feel the same.

If it is allowed on Amazon, what does that have to do with ebay which is a separate company with its own set of rules.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not allowed here.

There is no chat here, just a CS phone.

But if the listing was removed, your best bet is to not list it again.  You could get a temporary or permanent suspension of your selling privleges.
