Listing removed

I recently had a item removed because my title had a question mark beside the hallmark.  Many sellers do that,   for example:   Juliana?    Nine times out of 10 they are NOT Juliana pieces,   but that is allowed.

My title was for a necklace signed RLL,   which many existing listings have attributed to Ralph Lauren.   Because of looking at the other listings on Ebay,   I concluded that it also must be Ralph Lauren.   I am not at all familar with RLL,   but I do extensively search the web for the info.    What is saw through many listings is that it is Ralph Lauren.  Also on ETSY listings,  the same thing. . . . . Ralph Lauren

My issue is this:   If mine is removed,  then all the others must also be removed.   I am watching to see if it will be removed.

What I would like to know from the community is this:   Have you seen or know of the older Lauren pieces hallmark?    I have seen on the new jewelry  R R(reversed) and lined up with the L.   I have also seen  R L   which is the hallmark on my necklace.

Any info would be appreciated.

Don't hold your breath - on my other ID I recently had an item removed - I make these cool sterling silver roach clips out of old victorian button hooks. There were approximately 10 on ebay at that time by perhaps 4 other sellers. Ebay yanked mine stating drug accessories. Huh? under the verbage roach clip at that time there were 1,100ish listings . I called (waste of time) I explained to them that they had hundreds. Their response was they were "getting" to those others. I waited a week. Geez still a bizillion. Waited another week and my maiin competitor was still listing the exact same thing.  He's still selling them. Only thing I can figure is his feedback was around 13,000 and mine  in that store was only 356. He's still selling those sterling silver roach clips. Go figure

It could be he reported you, since he is your competition.  OR possibly someone else did, with that many listings, you never know.

Hey @Anonymous

Was there a database glitch that’s bringing all these old threads to the surface? They seem to be everywhere today.

We actually will only archive a post that goes more than 6 months without a comment before being brought back up, with the exception of the OP providing an update to the thread. Since the last comment on this thread was in June, we would not consider archiving/locking it until December.

I agree just called eBay today and told them that they were 13 other items exactly like mine. They didn't care. They took mine off and suspended me for 3 days. But the other 13 people are still online selling the exact same thing. It's Dunkin Donuts coffee flavor. I've been with eBay 17 years. Have 100% feedback and over a thousand good/feedback compliments. The person who didn't speak very good English seem to not to care at all. And just kept repeating the same sentence over and over again making me even more frustrated. Why can't we go back to the way eBay used to be fun?
