Letting a repeat buyer know I am listing an item they like

I have a repeat buyer who is an alumni to a college who's memorabilia I will sell when I come across it.  Am I able to email her through ebay to let her know I am listing another item from her collega?

Absolutely, as long as you don't say anything about taking the transaction outside of eBay.
