Lego keeps asking ebay to remove my non-lego brand building blocks merchandise.

I have a few Oyo items listed on ebay and they were all remove by ebay due to counterfeit. They were report by "LEGO Juris A/S". Oyo is a legit item and they are license product to the NCAA, NFL, NBA and MLB. Why is Lego doing this to their competitors? Why is ebay letting them? (And no, I have not written "lego" anywhere on the listing.)

Do you use lego in the title.   I used UFC in the title for a Tapout shirt and UFC reported my item.  I thought it I was using it like I would use MLB for a baseball item but UFC apparently is a brand and took down those items for attributing the brand name to a separate item.

The LEGO people wouldn't have found the listing and reported it if the word "lego" wasn't in there somewhere.

Had that happen to me selling MTG cards. Removed all my cards said Hasbro said I was selling forgerys.  I have never sold forgerys.  They were hand made token cards. Thing that really gets me. Look up "MTG Proxy" you will see pages of actual forgerys. They are burying themselfs, in their own **bleep**. I'm looking for another market place. Best of luck to you.

I just sold a Lego item with the name in the title. Maybe I got lucky because it sold so fast, within a day of listing. It does not show in the Vero Participant list.

OYO, according to Lego, is not legit.  Their beef isn’t with you - it is with anything OYO.  I don’t know the outcome of the suit - but Lego was suing to get any and all OYO sales stopped.

I am confused to I did exactly what you did and I got removed for no reason I had no Lego and I put unbranded and disclaimer

Lego will have any OYO product removed.

This has been in the courts for years, I don't think a final conclusion has happened yet but Lego have a ton of money and they are very aggressive in this area. While it's possible their claims will be tossed out in the meantime when they file a Notice of Copyright Infringement against a listing eBay has absolutely no choice but to comply.

There is no problem selling ACTUAL Lego, the problem is the OP was selling OYO which Lego claims violates their copyrights.

There were similar long legal battles between Lego and Mega Blocks.
