If I recall correctly, years ago, eBay stopped allowing sellers to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers. If you leave any feedback for buyers, it has to be positive.
Such horsecrap.
The eBay community should be warned about nasty, policy abusing, scamming buyers.
What do you think about leaving "positive feedback" for buyers but actually saying something negative in it, like "SELLERS BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER" with the angry face/caution/skull emoji to draw attention?
It gives the buyer another feedback point, but at least if anyone actually reads the feedback, they know what they're dealing with.
It's not against eBay policy is it?

Not only is it against policy, it will get your account a policy violation which will harm you as a seller.

Yes, it is against ebay policy. Ebay will usually remove false positive feedbacks anway. The only thing you can do is report the buyer.

It’s against policy and if you choose to do it, it will reflect badly on you as a seller. Negative feedback wasn’t a deterrent to buyers back then and it wouldn’t be one today.
