Laugh of the Day

It's not only Ebay folks where items are misrepresented!

A buyer needed jackstands - this is what he received.

Without seeing the actual ad for those mini jackstands, there's no way of knowing whether they were misrepresented, or the buyer did not read.

What would you need jack stands that tiny for though ?

They are for your tiny little garage in your tiny little Barbie house?

I actually looked up the item and the description does say RC1098 so I'm assuming they are for RC vehicles and the 3 probably denotes the inches but it isn't in the description - what little there was and the pics avoid anything so that a buyer could make a comparison. They weren't cheap either so I can see a person assuming that the RC is a model number and not associate it as something used on RC vehicles.

Many years ago before the internet took hold my uncle seen an ad in some magazine for a miracle product that kept men's hair in place all day  without chemicals of any kind . He thought wow ! he'd try it . They sent him a hair net .

Well now there's classic misleading advertising.

Hairnets are not chemical free......

No I don't suppose they are . I think the intent of the advertiser  was to let men know they wouldn't be using hair spray .  tulips

The intent of the advertiser was to play on consumer ignorance - correctly assuming that many people automatically think "chemicals bad.  chemical free good" because they don't understand that everything is made of chemicals.

Well there's that as well. LOL You get what you pay for and commonsense would tell you "not happening".

One would hope so, but how many threads are about those too good to be true listings that someone just had to have?

For example, sterling silver rings for $2.00 free shipping.

Laugh of the Day

I bought some stuff on Wish...  A month later, I got a message from Wish that my "Order", (That I didn't order!) was on it's way to another state.

I called my credit card, and they took the charge off, and since then I have had hackers buy with my card twice more, and take over my Ebay account. Each time, I got it straightened out, and changed passwords, ect. But never had any issues till I ordered thru Wish. Could be a coincidence, but.....

And no, I haven't ordered anything else thru Wish since then!! lol
