Lately Ebay become almost impossible to deal with!

Hi, I have to address the "grinding" I'm getting from eBay lately.

I'm a seller with more than 1500 sales, above 1000 feedbacks all positive and wonderful! Not even a single natural.

I had 3 errors with the authentication department which were rectify and 2 of them were repurchased by the buyer, besides this, all my sales were a complete success.

I never had any complaints from buyers, exactly the opposite, very few returns (less than 1%), and I have above average return customers. I never pull sales out of eBay, and always respected eBay's terms and conditions. I also very stupidly instructed my eBays return customers to make the second purchase on eBay.

In short, eBay should be very proud the way I represent them, and try to give me some supports, but they do exactly the opposite!

In the past 3 months, eBay started putting all my sales funds on hold, from $700 and above, one had a wrong reasoning but it didn't help for the funds release, the same order had 30 days hold because I was on vacation, but when it was delivered and the funds were cleared for payout, they suddenly put a hold on the payout for another 5 days for "account review".

Today I had a very ridicules situation with eBay, I sent an order on due date, but when I uploaded the tracking number, it suddenly vanished from the order page, I tried 3 more times with the same results, even though it stated "Thank you for shipping your order" on the left portion of the order page. 

I called eBay and they saw the glitch and open an IT ticket which was on May/22/2024.

They also sent me an email with the IT ticket number.

The item in question was delivered to eBay's authentication department on May/23/2024 (6 days ago), and it pass the authentication yesterday and the funds were released, but not received yet!

Today May/29/2024 I received an email from eBay stating that my account is restricted because they claimed there was no tracking number uploaded to this transaction, even thought an IT ticket was opened, and they can clearly see that the item was delivered and authenticated, but in spite all these, they still mentioned that it can take another 3 days to resolve this, but in the meantime they are still holding my payouts (2 payouts in the sum of $11,000+)!

I also never received any updates on the IT ticket.

The more effort I put into my eBay store, the more grieve I'm getting from eBay, there is no winning with them. They have no problem abusing their top sellers with no reason, I guess they are getting some kind of a kick out of it, otherwise, all don't make sense!
I'm working very hard to get sales traction on my website, so I can finally be able to close my eBay store and sleep better at night. Three of my friends already left eBay and they are super happy about it!

Most likely due to two things. High-priced items and very few sales - less than 2 per month. Those two items will throw a caution flag up no matter how many positive sales you have had or how long you have been here. JMO.  As far as trying your own website to sell off instead of eBay. It won't happen.  I tried for over 10 years and spent $20 grand in an attempt to migrate off eBay. I gave up a couple of years ago. Good luck!

Did you give the Message the Proof of Delivery?
Just because eBay has the number doesn't mean the person/robot looking at the transaction can find it easily.

Never assume that any large company is able to track down information faster than you can yourself.

 

That being said.

Ugh.

That is past annoying.

I understand what you are saying, and it make sense.

I'm just very frustrated for the lack of support, even though they saw that the item was delivered, and authenticated, they still hold my funds..

I don't need eBay for the buyers, I know how to market my items and am starting to get more orders on my website every day. That being said, I got to admit that I need eBay for the Seller Protection more than anything.

I'm a jewelry designer by trade, catering to more than 90 stores around the US and globally, eBay represent about 6% of my revenue, so I can afford to close my eBay store tomorrow.

I'm still trading on eBay to see if they can come to their senses, and ease up on the holds and restrictions, because I really don't deserve this. I can easily raise my sales on my eBay store by a huge margin by adding lots more items, but the holds and mistreatment still happening on a weekly bases, so I get discourage on spending more time and effort on my eBay store.

Yes, I showed them all the info, but they still mentioned that it might take 3 more days to get the restrictions removed.

I reckon it is not a long period of time, but why not getting the restrictions released on the spot?

These are big numbers we are talking about.
