I am thoroughly disgusted with ebays' customer support. They have their canned **bleep** response telling you how sorry they are and they are here to help you. The folks from the Philippines may be able to speak english, maybe, but there is limited to no comprehension whatsoever.
I had two issues yesterday...
1.) My ebay account was hacked and a $260 charge to my credit card ensued for a purchase that I did not make.
Ebay - no help! Change your password and we cannot help you with the charge... call PayPal, maybe they could do something.
2.) An item that was tracked (not lost) and has been in transit for over a month. The buyer, whom I have been in touch with, left negative feedback because they do not understand the problem is with the USPS not me.
Ebay - refunded their purchase price (which was not insured - how can you break a well packaged book?) and will not do anything regarding the feedback left.
There seems to be no management at ebay because when I get a reply to my emails, I can tell it is just another minion partially reading it for the first time, not comprehending the message being sent and replying blindly. Very frustrating indeed.
Any advice would be appreciated.
