Just a thought about buyer's amount of feed back

I had a buyer that of course left no feed back

Just thought i would check into the feed back ratings of this particular one

This buyer received 175 positive feed back's from seller's

Same buyer gave only 3 in return; Only 3 total out of 175

Go Figure!

Just a thought about buyer's amount of feed back

Were the feedback they left very recent ? Maybe they were unaware of the feedback system earlier on ?

As it is voluntary a lot of people just don't bother

There's more important things to worry about.

It's voluntary. People leave it or they don't leave it. Just consider it to be enough that you got their business and move on.

Some buyers just don't leave feedback. It's that simple.

I gave up on FB several years back.

Buyers are not focused on FB it seems and those who are - often wield it like a weapon.

With all the inane changes, e-Bay needs to add FB to their laundry list of total re-vamps.

It is much needed.

I have also encountered many sellers who also do not leave feedback or in some cases average giving buyers feedback in less than 5% of their sales. I quit buying from them as I am  not looking for praise but at least a "thank you" when I buy from someone.   My money meant something to me even if not to the recipient!

Yup, just recently got two sales. I really need more feedback (you can't see my feedback now, but I have two) so I wen't to see if both of these buyers ever leave feedback.

First buyer:

364 positive feedback - about 100 feedback left. I thought I had a chance with this guy. Nope. Didn't get any feedback

Second buyer:

77 positive feedback - two feedback left from the past year. Did I receive feedback? Nope. I wonder why.

We have a policy of leaving feedback for all sales. The buyer pays, we leave feedback and ship within 1 day.

I don't know why anyone would care enough to check, then to post about it.

We'd rather spend our time selling stuff.

Do you give them a "thank you" when they sell to you?

My accounts get 20-30% feedback.

I also sometimes  look to see if a buyer leaves feedback.

Some never have.  Some show more than a year ago.

Yes, when appropriate and they have "tried" to meet my expectations. I also screen theirs before buying and hesitate to even bid/buy when the seller's feedback  is under 99% positive, especially if they have left any unpleasant replies to buyers.  I prefer sellers to be at 99.5% positive  or higher.  I think you missed my point: the trading  partner receiving the greatest benefit (the money for product and ebay fees) should be the more grateful party and express it. Sellers are much more plentiful than buyers. I give positive feedbacks and  an occasional neutral or a rare negative for dropshippers and fraudsters. Unless  a seller is terribly incompetent I always leave feedback on every purchase, but when a seller is so bad that another negative would cripple their business I leave no feedback at all which is about 2% of the time just to spare the seller the embarassment of another bad mark.

Neat, thank you. And especially neat for that fast shipping response!
