Just a Curiosity Question

Orders that I make specifically for buyers by request are no longer showing in search results under "sold" after the buyers complete the transaction.   My other listings are showing up, just not these special request listings.

Anyone have have any ideas as to why this happens?

It would only appear in your sold search results if there was still a quantity remaining on the listing - whether active or ended.

If you have the Out of Stock feature enabled and the listing has zero quantity remaining after the sale then it will not appear in your sold search results.

Thank you.  Yes, I do have the OOS feature enabled.  Once I've shipped, I end the listing.  I guess, I thought because it was a quantity of 1 and sold, when I ended the listing it would show up in search "Solds".

Why to you have OOS enabled if you just go and end a listing when it sells out?  You wouldn't have to do that if you didn't have OOS enabled.

The poster has a lot of multi quantity variation listings. Their question is about custom listings for buyers of which there will only be one quantity. Like many sellers, they need the OOS feature on some listings, but not others. Unfortunately eBay only lets us set OOS at an account level.

@mam98031

Because with OOS enabled it is applied to all of my listings.

Of course.  I should have thought about that a bit more and I would have answered my own question.  Sorry!!!
