I have over 16,500 items in my eBay store and for some reason they are not being displayed or showing up in search. Yesterday I could only see 174 items in the store, today only 1 item. The vast majority of these are NOT new listings. Not only are they not in the store, they are not showing up if I do a general eBay search. I do have the store on "time away" at the moment because of internet issues in the aftermath of Helene. But people should be able to see my items & purchase them if they want. Anyone else having this issue?

What I currently see is the following 1 active auction listing in your store. You have been selling for a long time so probably no need to explain the basics but curious how many of your 16,500 items are auctions and how many are BIN. Is it possible that the BIN ended and did not auto relist? The same would apply to the auction items if you had them setup to relist. Are there any items showing in your ended listings?

It is entirely possible that there are technical issues with eBay and things are not relisting.

Hello - Thanks so much for the time you took to look at this. I only have the 1 auction, the rest are BIN. I ended "time away" just a minute ago & now I can see the items in the store & now find them in search. Still have an unreliable internet connection (Helene related) - I'll just do the best I can about getting things out in time. Thanks again.

When you set up time away, there's an option to choose whether or not to allow purchases. If you don't allow purchases (i.e., "pause item sales"), the items are not shown. Time Away doesn't affect auction-format listings, which is why the auction showed up.

So now your options to deal with "I'll just do the best I can about getting things out in time" would be to (1) reinstate time away, but allow sales, or (2) revise your handling time. If you set your handling time to 5 days, that will cover you through Monday October 21 (this coming Monday is a postal holiday).

The auction-format listing has no bids and only a few hours left; if you won't be able to ship on Tuesday then IMHO you should end it now.

Quite welcome I am now seeing all your listings also. Sorry for your situation hopefully it's just your internet connection and you didn't/don't have property or other damage. There is a lot of focus on Florida but many people fail to realize that the Carolina's and Tennessee took a bigger hit from Helene than Florida did.

Hi - thanks for your input. I had set time away for 5 days & I'm pretty sure (but I can't absolutely prove) I set it to allow sales. That was certainly my intention. It's quite possible I made a mistake, because when I ended time away things quickly returned to normal. I've used time away before with no issues.
