Items listed no longer showing views - how do I get the views back?

Ebay recently reset the view & watcher numbers to align with the actual numbers from the last 30 days. Here is the ebay announcement from not too long ago:

If you want to see historical data about your views, there is a reporting feature that allows you to see the view data from the last two years.
